Mary Kay's Story
Life
I was married for 22 yrs and have 2 daughters. I'm divorced since 2005 and live back in pgh again.
College

Workplace
I've been a Pre-K teacher for 15 yrs. and presently do TSS work (Therapeutic Support Staff) I go to client's homes or schools to work one on one with children with Autism
I also have a Nursery School teaching job 2 days a week in Mt. Lebanon.
Military
I wasn't in the military but I should get SOME credit just for being an Army wife! I did the Officer's Wives Club thing, fancy afternoon teas, evening coffee's, giving welcoming dinners to newly arriving Officer's family that you've never met and baby showers to women you barely know. Volunteering to make fun Christmas's for the soldiers and kids, being a Company Commander's Wife, single mom while the husbands were in the field for 2 to 4 weeks or traini...Expand for more
ng or school for 6 weeks. Living in isolation of little German Village with no other Americans, unable to pick up American TV or radio and no mail or newspaper to the door. Obligatory Hail and Farewell parties, Military Balls and moving, moving, moving!
I made lots of friends in all the places I've lived and living and traveling in Europe was a great experience but I had my share of packing and unpacking!.
I've lived in:
Ft. Meade MD/ Ft. Drum NY/ Ft. Belvoir VA/
Deidenburg, Germany/ Frankfurt Germany/
(living in Europe during Chernobyl accident, scare of radiation fallout detected all over our area as our kids played outside) We flew back to states on the -same day, same airline, same departure city..only hours difference as the Pam Am bombing of flight 103 over Scotland/ my family believed we were on that flight!)
Atlanta GA, Columbia, SC and Carrick and Brentwood in Pittsburgh
Now you see why I feel I have a right to mention my "Military Experience"
